    A luxury lace shawl that is warm and as light as a feather.

    Beautiful Wedding Shawl for the Mother of the Bride or Groom. 

    This Diamond motif was created by the Estonian knitters of Haapsula whose shawls/stoles were worn by the Russian aristocracy.

    Handcrafted by Sue using Certified Organic, Fair Trade, cotton lace yarn. It drapes beautifully and feels exquisitely soft.
    Simone from Gum Blossom Yarns, naturally dyed the yarn using Avocado. The mix of colour is amazing, a unique shawl that will not be reproduced.

    The yarns are 100% certified to the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), they are Fair Trade, Vegan and sourced in Peru where GMO's are banned.

    These luxuriously soft organic cotton yarns are free of harsh chemicals, sustainably grown and produced.

    Width - approximately 105 cm / 41.5"
    Length - approximately 86 cm / 34"

    Care:
    Hand washing is EASY and much quicker than a washing machine.

    1. Prepare a tub of cold water and mix in a mild soap product.
    2. Examine for dirty spots and wash these areas first. A very gentle finger rub will remove most spots and cause no harm to the garment.
    3. Immerse the shawl and very gently squeeze the suds through.

    Gently squeeze out as much water as possible.
    RINSE, squeeze and lay flat to dry.
    SHAPE the shawl while still damp (a spare bed is ideal for drying the shawl).

    Wool & Cotton Road items are made entirely from natural fibres. Packaging is recyclable and ready to give as a special gift.
